Upcoming Fun Events!
High Tides Holiday Meet
Many people have been asking,... " Are we having an intersquad Christmas meet this year?". The answer is yes!! Our third annual Holiday Intersquad Meet will be held on Friday, January 2nd, and it starts with warm ups at 2:00pm. This is a great time for all of our swimmers! We will divide up into equal teams, and our older swimmers will organize their teams for the meet. After the meet, we will have pizza and juice for everyone at the pool. So,.. plan for the afternoon/evening of Friday January 2nd for our intersquad meet.

Swim-A-Thon 2009
The information is up on our website, and the paperwork is available at the pool,... we will be holding our second annual Swim-A-Thon on Friday, January 23rd, 2009. Everyone had a fun time last year, some won prizes, and raised some money for the club in the process.

Thanks!
The High Tides board members would like to thank all of you who helped make this past weekend a success. Without parent volunteers we would not be able to host these meets. We know that it can be hectic and very stressful for some of you and we appreciate your time and effort. There were many families that went the extra mile and spent most of the weekend at the pool to make sure the meet ran smoothly. MANY THANKS!! These meets are very vital to our club to help us pay pool rent and coaching fees. Without these meets we could not survive.
While we know that we can not please everyone it is very important to do what we can. By giving swimmers and parents a good experience they will be more likely to come back to future High Tides meets. If anyone has any comments or ideas how to make future meets better, please feel free to let one of us know.
Once again, THANKS!! =-)

One side note, we have had complaints of vehicles parked in front of the doors at the High school while waiting for their swimmers to come out after practice. This area is narrow and gets conjested when someone is parked there. Please park in the spaces provided or use the circle drive in the front of the school to pick up your children.

Thanks and have a great day!

Team Suits are in!
If you recently ordered a team suit, it has arrived. The price for the girls suits has changed slightly, they are 44.50, and the boys suits are still 32.00. Marne Reiner will have the suits at our meet setup tonight at 6:30 at the Middle School, or at the meet during the weekend. You will need to pay for your suit when you pick it up.

Suit Update
Update-The male jammer is $32.00.

OK –

Here’s the scoop…

There is no extra charge for the shipping and handling, so the female suits will be $46.50 each. Marne will place the order Saturday (11/22) and Mark (from the sports shop) thought there shouldn’t be a problem with them being here for the meet. Marne will pick up all the suits and pay for them when they arrive, and then swimmers are to reimburse her for the cost.

We do not know the price of the male jammers yet but it will be lower than the girls suits.
Please get in contact with Marne Reiner. She needs to know swimmers name and size. They are TYR suits.
